Samsung Galaxy S8+ Gets A Rs 6,000 Price Cut

If you were holding out for a flagship phone, now is the time to take a plunge. Samsung’s one of the top-end handsets, the S8+ has received a price cut in time for Diwali. With Rs 6,000 trimmed from the price tag, the Galaxy S8+ (64 GB) can be purchased for Rs. 58,900.

For a quick memory refresh, the S8+ features a metal and glass body. It is water and dust resistant with IP 68 certification. The phone sports a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen. It has an impressive pixel density of 529 ppi. The display has neatly curved edges. The Indian variant is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9 Series 8895 chipset, which is on par with the Snapdragon 835.

It has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The hybrid slot can be used for adding more storage or a secondary SIM. You can click impressive pictures with a 12 MP rear camera, which comes with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). You can indulge in selfies with the phone’s 8 MP front-shooter. The Galaxy S8+ ships with Android 7.0 (Nougat). For secure login, it relies on the Iris sensor.
