The long anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is now officially available via US telecom operator AT&T. The rugged looking version of Galaxy S5 is priced at $714.99 (approx. Rs. 42,000) without contract. It can also be purchased on contract at $199.99 with two-year AT&T contract.
Galaxy S5 Active sports an elaborate shock resistant rugged body which is MIL-STD-810G certified. The phone is water resistant and dust proof. It features more or less the same specifications as that of the flagship Galaxy S5. It hosts a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution. The smartphone is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is backed by 2800mAh battery. Internal storage capacity of the device is 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB by means of microSD card. Connectivity options provided with the device are- 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and NFC.
