South Korean tech giant Samsung is busy working on its upcoming Galaxy S10 Plus smartphone which is expected to be launched in February 2019. Some of the specifications of the device have been leaked online in the recent past and based on some reports we can get to see at least three models of Galaxy S10- a Lite variant, a regular version and a Plus-sized version. Now, we have the first leaked renders of the upcoming device via Steve (@Onleaks) and 91mobiles.com, that reveals the design aspects of the upcoming flagship. Let’s have a look at the leaked renders before we move on to the speculated specifications of the phone…

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Leaked Render

Based on the leaked renders and report, the Galaxy S10 Plus will sport an ‘Infinity O’ design and feature a 6.4-inch dual-curved edge AMOLED display with QHD resolution. The ‘Infinity O’ design means that the front sensors be tucked away in a tiny little in-display notch at the top-right corner. Thanks to this set up, the company has managed to come up with a nearly bezel-less display and offer one of the highest screen-to-body ratios of any phone in the market. The rear of the device features a triple rear camera set up which will consist of a standard camera + a wide-angle camera + a telephoto camera wlong with an LED flash in a horizontal setup. The rear also features Samsung’s branding, but the fingerprint sensor is not visible which confirms the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor. The new-age ultrasonic sensor is touted to be quicker and more accurate than the current generation optical in-display fingerprint sensors used in devices like the OnePlus 6T. Fortunately, the render does feature a 3.5mm headphone jack as some of the earlier reports had claimed that the same will be missing in Galaxy S10 Plus. Placed alongside the headphone jack at the bottom are the USB Type-C port and loudspeaker.

The Galaxy S10 Plus is expected to be a powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 in the US, while then rest of the world (including India) will get Samsung’s own and latest Exynos 9820 SoC. In terms of memory, there could be two options- 6GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage. Some of the reports also hint at a 12GB RAM + 1TB storage variant, but we have our doubts about the same. In terms of software, the device will run Android Pie operating system out of the box with Samsung’s new One UI on top. The ejectable SIM card tray is placed on the top edge, the power button is placed on the right whereas the volume rocker and dedicated Bixby button are placed on the left side.

Although these are not the official renders of the Galaxy S10 Plus, Steve has a track record of providing near accurate renders of yet-to-be launched devices. So, we believe the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus will look more or less the same as seen in the above renders. We are still a couple of months away from the official launch of the device and you can expect more information and images to leak in the meanwhile.
