South Korean tech giant Samsung kick-started the year 2019 on a positive note with the launch of India focused Galaxy M series consisting of Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. As per the industry experts, Samsung has finally taken steps in the right direction to capture the lost ground in the mid-range smartphone segment. Recently the company expanded its Galaxy M series by launching Galaxy M30 a week ago. The phone has gone on sale in India today for the first time via eCommerce giant Amazon.in.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Price in India

The Galaxy M30 is the most expensive of the existing Galaxy M series phones, the other two being Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. The starting price of the device in India is set at Rs. 14,990 i.e. for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. While the top variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage is priced at Rs. 17,990. The phone will be sold via Amazon.in as well as via Samsung’s online store in India and will come in two colour options- Gradation Black and Gradation Blue. As part of the launch offers, customers can get 5 per cent instant discount by using an HDFC Bank Credit or Debit card. In addition, there’s No Cost EMI options on major Credit cards and select Debit cards. Reliance Jio customers buying the Galaxy M30 can also avail Double Data benefits on its Rs 198 and Rs 299 prepaid packs.

The Galaxy M30 flaunts a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ Infinity-U Display with 2340×1080 pixel screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with water drop shaped notch at the top which houses the selfie camera. The device draws power from octa-core Exynos 7904 processor along with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There are two options in terms of inbuilt storage- 64GB and 128GB. The storage can be expanded further up to 512GB via microSD card. In terms of software, the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Samsung’s custom Experience 9.5 UI out of the box. There’s an impressive 5,000mAh battery underneath to keep things ticking along with 15W fast wireless charging support.

For the camera buffs, there’s a triple camera module on the back which comprises of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture + a 5-megapixel secondary sensor + a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with LED flash placed just beneath the same. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16-megapixel snapper on the front.
