Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus and J6 Plus Pricing and Availability in India Made Official

Earlier this month South Korean tech giant Samsung had officially announced its Galaxy J4 Plus and Galaxy J6 Plus smartphones. And now the company has revealed the pricing and availability in India.

The Galaxy J4 Plus is priced at Rs. 10,990 and it will come in three color variants- Black, Blue, and Gold. While the Galaxy J6 Plus comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,990 and there will be three color options available for the buyers- Blue, Black, and Red. Both the phones will go on sale in India starting from September 25 via Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung’s online Shop and Samsung India’s retail outlets across the country. As part of the launch offer, buyers can get One time Screen Replacement Offer at discounted rate of Rs. 990 till November 11.

Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus and J6 Plus Features and Specifications:

Both Galaxy J4 Plus and J6 Plus have a lot in common. Both the phones feature a glass finish with reflective back design and flaunt a 6-inch True HD+ Infinity display with aspect ratio of 18.5:9. They are powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC and pack a 3,300mAh battery. Both the phones come with a new Emotify feature which is available in 22 Indian languages and it enables users to create avatars that can be shared over message or on social media platforms. Another common feature is that you can install apps directly to SD card and move content to memory card. Both the devices are shipped with Android Oreo 8.1 operating system out of the box topped with Samsung’s own Experience 9.5 UI.

In terms of differences, the Galaxy J4 Plus features a 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, while the Galaxy J6 Plus features a 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The Galaxy J4 Plus bears a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, coupled with an LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera. But the Galaxy J6 Plus sports a dual rear camera set up consisting of 13MP primary sensor + 5MP secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP sensor on the front. Another key difference is that the Galaxy J6 Plus features a side mounted fingerprint scanner but the Galaxy J4 Plus lacks the fingerprint sensor and it only has Face Unlock as security feature.
