Samsung is planning to expand its J series with two new models- Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6. Both phones have been subjected to several leaks in the recent past. In February, both the phones were spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. And now, both Galaxy J4 and J6 have showed up on Wi-Fi certification agency’s website.

The Samsung Galaxy J4 has received Wi-Fi certification with the model number ad SM-J400F. Whereas, the Galaxy J6 has received the certification with model number SM-J600F/DS. The presence of /DS in the model number indicates that the Galaxy J6 will have dual-SIM support. According to the listing, both Galaxy J4 and J6 will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box.

There are no more details revealed in the listing. However, here’s a recap of speculated specifications based on the previous leaks:

The Samsung J series consists of entry level budget smartphones, so they are low on specifications. As per the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy J6 will be powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC which has 1.6GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor. The device will sport a full HD+ resolution and will have 2GB RAM. It scores 726 points on single-Core and 3643 on multi-core.

On the other hand, the Galaxy J4 will be powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos 7570 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
