Samsung launched its affordable J2 Ace with 4G VoLTE technologyby Sayli Jadhav January 16, 2017
The New Year seems to be a good time for all the mobile phone companies to launch their devices in the market. With the CES 2017, we saw a lot of innovative technology make its way into our lives. Samsung is another one of these to launch its new device. Samsung is one of the few brands that cater to almost every economy consumer group.
This January, Samsung is here with its Galaxy J2 Ace. After the J1 Ace becoming popular, this year Samsung has come out with an upgraded version of the same. The J1 Ace had a 4.3 Inch screen and was priced in the low range of smartphones at approximately 6,000 INR. The J1 Ace has only 512Mb of RAM and 4GB internal memory. Considering the progress and use of smartphones today, this just wouldn’t be enough.
The all new J2 Ace is Samsung’s move to upgrade this variant to keep up with the progress. Here’s all you need to know about this pocket-friendly device. With a 5-inch screen and available for 8,500 INR only, the J2 Ace is perfect for all pockets.
The Galaxy J2 Ace has a 5-inch QHD touchscreen display and 1.5 GB of RAM space. The phone also has 8GB of internal memory and can be expanded up to 256 GB by an external memory card. With a memory slot with capacity so big, you’ll never run out of space. The screen has a 540 x 960 resolution with a 220pi pixel density. The phone has a Spreadtrum 1.4 GHz quad core processor to run this 4G Smartphone.
Camera and OS
The rear camera is an 8MP along with a 5 MP front camera that will help you capture all your amazing selfies. The camera has a flash and features like autofocus, gesture shot, voice capture, Face Beauty, HDR, Scene modes, touch focus and a Low Light mode. Despite these features, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace doesn’t seem to compete with other smartphones from a similar price range on the camera front. However, the J2 Ace comes equipped with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is available in almost all the latest smartphones.
The Samsung J2 Ace comes with 4G VoLTE technology making it compatible with the latest trend among smartphone and network providers both. The Samsung J2 Ace will make 4G VoLTE technology available in the low budget segment too. The phone also comes with proximity sensor and accelerometer.
This low-budget smartphone is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery and will be available in black, gold and silver. At present, the market has a few other smartphones belonging to the same price segment that offers better features. However, the phone is backed by credibility that the name Samsung brings to the table.
Samsung also launched its J1 4G which has features subpar to the J2 Ace, but the phone is also priced at 6,890 INR making it the most affordable 4G smartphone with VoLTE technology.
