As per the media reports, the South Korean handset maker Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy J next week but not in India. Samsung will reportedly host an event in Taiwan (Japan) on 9th December and unveil its latest addition to Galaxy series. As per the post published on a website, Samsung has already sent out invites for the event that reads “Just Arrived” and features a smart phone in the background. The device was first spotted under NTT DoCoMo’s winter smart phone line-up in October’13.
In terms of design, Samsung has supposedly gone for an unusual design with Galaxy J. Considering the specifications, the phone is believed to be a mixed variant of Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 phablet. The device is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. It has a 3GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage that can be expanded up to 64GB by means of microSD card. For connectivity purpose it supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and NFC.
The handset sports a 5″ full-HD Super AMOLED display. In terms of camera, it features a 13.2MP rear camera with BSI CMOS sensor and LED flash. At the front there’s a 2.1MP camera. All of this is backed with 2600mAh battery.
