Samsung Galaxy A6+ Official Listing

South Korean tech giant Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy A6 series is coming soon. And now we have a confirmation from the official Samsung website, hinting at imminent launch. The Galaxy A6+ was listed on Samsung Poland’s website with the model number SM-A605FN/DS. The webpage is currently live at press time. Going by the DS at the end of the model number, we could expect it to be the dual-SIM Galaxy A6+. And thus, we can assume that even the Galaxy A6 will be launched in the markets soon. Both the devices are expected to be announced at a single event by end of April.

Recently both Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ passed through FCC and Geekbench revealing some of the specifications of the device. On Geekbench, the Galaxy A6+ obtained a score of 739 points in single-core test and 3469 points in the multi-core test. According to Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A6+ will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset instead of the standard Exynos SoC like most of Samsung mid-rangers. There will be a 4 GB RAM and the device will be shipped with latest Android Oreo OS out of the box.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A6 obtained a score of 723 points in single-core test and 3605 points in the multi-core test. The listing also mentioned that the A6 will be powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

However, there is no official news regarding the pricing and availability as yet. However, both Galaxy A6 and A6+ are expected to be in the range of Rs. 15,000-Rs. 18,000.
