With Galaxy A3, A5 And A7, Samsung Gives Its A Series An Upgrade This New Yearby Sayli Jadhav December 29, 2016
While we’re saying our goodbyes to the disappointing year that 2016 was (with respect to Samsung), there’s a lot that can get you all excited about the next year. Samsung has been famous for innovating and coming up with excellent devices to make them better every year. With a broad range of the Samsung mobile prices in India, it has been able to cater to a large number of people and with the New Year coming up, here’s what you can look forward to.
The CES 2017 is scheduled from January 5th where a lot of new brands are expected to launch their devices for the coming year. Samsung has its pre-CES event on the January 4th where we may witness the local unveiling of the Galaxy A series in Kuala Lumpur while the global launch can be expected during the CES event. After a lot of popularity and sales all across the globe, Samsung has made it even better with evolved versions of its original A series. The A7, A5 and A3 are all set to take over the cell phone markets yet again. Let’s have a closer look at what the three 2017 models have to offer:
Galaxy A7 2017
The Galaxy A7 (2017) is expected to have a 5.7-inch display making it bigger than its previous version. The screen is a Super AMOLED Full- HD display packed with Samsung’s own Octa-Core Exynos 7880 Processor. With a 3GB RAM and 32 or 64 GB inbuilt memory, the phone could find it a little difficult to compete with the upcoming phones with 6 and 8 GB RAMs.
With a 16MP rear camera with a f/1.9 aperture, there is hardly any need to carry a camera on your next holiday trip. The front camera is also a 16MP making it excellent for selfies. Keeping up with the trend, the smartphone is expected to be highly water and dust resistant. Running this powerful device is an equally powerful 3,500mAh battery. Samsung is expected to stick to its standard design with a fingerprint scanner along with the home button on the front.
Galaxy A5 2017
The A5 is slightly smaller in size with its 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1080p resolution. Similar to the A7, the A5 will also have a 16MP camera on the front and back. Samsung plans to use its own Exynos processor for the A series. The A5 also comes with an Exynos 7880 Processor with a 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage space, a configuration similar to the A7.
The Processor comes with four Cortex A72 Cores and four Cortex A53 Cores with a clock speed of 1.87 GHz. The A7 and A5 come with a micro SD slot that can be used to expand its memory capacity. The other features include Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS. The OS is expected to be Android v6.0 Marshmallow.
Galaxy A3 2017
The A3 is anticipated to be the most economical of the Galaxy A series. It comes with a smaller 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Display and 720 p resolution. The rear camera is a 13MP while the front comes with an 8MP one to make you go click-click wherever you go! The A3 is packed with an octa-core processor with 1.5 GHz clock speed and a 2GB RAM. This one is also expected to run an Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS.
It may take a while for Samsung to launch these in India however; a lot of customers are excited to buy them already!
