Announced way back in February this year, the handset was all set to hit shelves in March. However, that didn’t happen. According to a Mumbai-based retailer, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G comes with a bunch of exciting offers, which includes up to 3GB of free 4G data for Airtel users. Moreover, you also get a free 3-month Hungama premium subscription, and a Vuclip prime offer. Now, all of that sounds tempting, isn’t it?
Let’s have a look at the specifications:
4.5 inch display
Android 4.4 KitKat OS
5 MP primary camera
2 MP secondary camera
1.2 GHz processor1
1 GB RAM
8 GB of Internal Storage
Like its 3G variant, this one too runs on Android 4.4 and features a decent 4.5-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Of course, a 5-inch screen would have been better, but that’s OK. Powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and a 1 GB RAM, the device has 8 GB of inbuilt storage capacity which can be extended further up to 64 GB using a microSD card.
A 5MP rear camera may not be the best one to make you happy, but surely good enough to let you capture a few instant memories here and there. The handset has a 2 MP front-facing snapper too. For now, the device will be available in 3 colours – White, Silver and Charcoal Grey.
Launched alongside the Galaxy Core Prime 4G were Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and the Galaxy J1 4G. Check out their features:

Though the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G may not be packed with the best hardware, it is worth noting that the handset supports 4G connectivity and comes with a sufficient amount of internal storage capacity. So, at just below Rs. 10000, the Core Prime 4G is indeed a good deal.
