One of the latest players in the smartphone industry, Realme, is set to introduce an all-new X7 series that will come with two variants. The brand confirmed the same on its Weibo account that the launch will happen in China on September 1 at 2 pm. Soon after the company’s announcement, Realme’s vice-president Xu Qi clarified that this series would be a completely different lineup and, in no way, a successor to X2 or X3 series. He added that smartphones under the X7 series would come with a new design language. The company also revealed a few key specs in a teaser.

Realme X7 series: Key specs and features

Gathering from the teasers posted by the brand, the Realme X7 series is expected to come with a 120 Hz refresh rate on an AMOLED panel. The display will also feature a punch-hole selfie snapper on the top-left corner. With 5G connectivity, the X7 series poster reveals in Mandarin that Realme is trying to portray it as a flagship series. The brand will launch two variants, named RMX2176 and RMX2121, X7 & X7 Pro, respectively.

 

On TENNA, the base variant is listed with specs such as FHD+ 6.43” panel. A 2.4 GHz processor will power the device with 8 gigs of RAM and 256 GB internal storage. On the camera front, the smartphones are expected to come with a quad-camera array with OIS. Realme X7 series will also support 65W fast charging. The battery capacity on X7 will be 4300 mAh, whereas X7 Pro will have a 4500 mAh battery.

There are no official announcements or any leaks that can hint at the pricing or availability. The Realme X7 series will be launched in China on September 1.
