The Chinese tech giant has unveiled an all-new fitness tracker next in line with its Realme Band that was launched earlier this year, the latest tracker is dubbed as Realme Band 2 and it is announced in the Malaysia market. Putting it next to the predecessor, it has multiple enhanced features, for example, bigger battery capacity, bigger display, etc.

The Realme Band was equipped with the USB charging mechanism whereas the Band 2 is now upgraded to come with the magnetic charger that is more convenient and practical. It will compete directly with the OnePlus Band, Honor Band 6, Xiaomi Band 6, and more.

Realme Band 2: Key specs & features

The display panel of Realme Band 2 will produce a resolution of 167*320 pixels with a bigger size of 1.4 inches. The LCD screen will get up to the peak brightness of 500 nits. The fitness tracker will come with over 50 dial faces and users will also get to change the straps among green, black, and blue.

Realme has also focused on the advanced health features such as GH3011 heart-rate monitoring sensor that is also highly power efficient. Users will also get sleep tracking, blood-oxygen monitoring, and more than 90 sports modes. A few other features that will definitely be highly helpful are water reminder, calorie counter, sedentary reminder, menstrual cycle tracking, distance tracking, recording activities, stress management tips, and more.

Thanks to the 50 ATM water resistance, users will also get to use it for water activities. The brand is offering Bluetooth 5.1 and can easily be paired with the devices running on iOS 11+ and Android 5.1+. The battery capacity here is 240mAh and Realme claims that it will last up to 12 days. The tracker will be charged using the magnetic charger provided in the box. Users will get to control music, camera shutter, access notifications, IoT controls, etc.

Pricing and availability

Realme has launched the Band 2 at a price tag of RM 169 (roughly ₹3,000) and as an introductory offer, buyers can get it at RM 139 that roughly translates to ₹2,450. The first sale will commence on September 20 in Malaysia. A blog posted by 91Mobiles speculates that the all-new tracker will be coming to India somewhere next month in multiple color options.
