In the earlier months of 2020, Realme debuted its C-series smartphones with fast-charging support, the first device was Realme C15. At its core, the device had a gaming-centric Helio G35 SoC, a quad-camera array, a 6.5” display, and a big 6,000 mAh battery. In a recent event, the brand has revealed the Realme C15’s Qualcomm edition in the Indian market.

Realme C15 Qualcomm-edition will have the Snapdragon 460 SoC and all the other specifications are kept identical to the MediaTek variant. The color options will also remain the same. Let’s dig a bit deeper into the internals of the smartphone.

Realme C15 Qualcomm-edition: Key specs and features

The primary and the most significant difference that this Realme C15 has to offer is the 11nm construction of its octa-core Snapdragon 460 SoC paired with Adreno 610 for graphic-hungry tasks. Realme C15’s Qualcomm-edition will come in 2 variants, 3GB+32GB & 4GB+64GB options. However, on Realme’s website, there is also a mention of a 128GB model. There are no details regarding the pricing which means the brand will reveal it somewhere in the future. The smartphones will run on Realme UI based on Android 10.

The smartphone will sport an LCD panel of 6.5” with a resolution of 1600*720 pixels. Realme has also managed to provide much thinner bezels and achieved a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7%. In standard conditions, the waterdrop notch screen will go up to 480 nits of brightness whereas it can go all the way to 600 nits in the Sunlight Mode.

Coming to the optics, this Realme C15 edition will feature a quad-camera setup with a primary 13MP f/2.2 lens with phase-detection AF, an 8MP 119-degree wide-angle, a 2MP monochrome lens, and a 2MP retro sensor. The selfie snapper is an 8MP unit with some AI features.

Realme C15 Qualcomm-edition will house a gigantic 6,000 mAh battery with fast charging support up to 18W. The battery also supports reverse charging. On the security front, the smartphone will feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Pricing and availability

Realme C15 Qualcomm-edition will come in two color options, Power Blue and Power Silver. The pricing of the 3GB and 4GB RAM options will be ₹9,999 and ₹10,999, respectively. Realme is giving an introductory offer where both the smartphones are available at a ₹500 discount. The smartphone will be available exclusively through Flipkart and realme.com from Oct 29, noon onwards.
