Realme Is Expected To Launch Its Realme V5 5G As Realme 7 5G In The UK On Nov 19

In September this year, Realme introduced two smartphones, Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro in the Indian market. The brand has also revealed the Realme 7i in Indonesia later that month. The Realme 7i along with the Sun-Kissed Leather Edition Realme 7 Pro was brought to the Indian market in October. In a recent announcement, the brand has revealed details about an online-only event to introduce Realme 7 5G in the UK on November 19.

The expectations regarding the rebranded Realme V5 5G are popping up due to the model number (Realme RMX2111) listing that was spotted a week earlier in Thailand on NBTC. The same model number also belonged to the Realme V5 5G that was launched in August in Realme’s home market, China. It’s quite likely that Realme is planning to launch the same smartphone in other markets such as the UK, Thailand, etc. Let’s go through the specs of both, Realme V5 5G and Realme 7 5G.

Realme 7 5G: Expected specs & features

In its 7-series, Realme 7 5G is going to be the first smartphone equipped with 5G capabilities. In the poster for the online-only event, Realme is indicating to offer a power-button integrated FPS and a punch-hole display. The event will be live on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook handle of Realme UK. However, there are no further specifications released yet.

Realme V5 5G: Key specs & features

The Chinese-only Realme V5 5G sports an LCD panel of 6.5” with Full HD+ resolution. The screen comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a high refresh rate of 90Hz. At its core, the smartphone gets its power from Dimensity 720 5G chipset paired with 6/8 gigs of RAM. The onboard storage is 128GB along with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The smartphone boots on Android 10 with Realme’s custom skin on top. The whole package is powered by a huge 5,000-mAh battery with fast-charging support up to 30W. Coming to the optics, the smartphone sports a quad-camera array comprising of a 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide, and dual 2MP depth and macro sensors. The FPS is placed on the power button.
