As reported earlier, Realme has launched its Realme 3 Pro smartphone which is a successor to Realme 2 Pro. Alongside the Realme 3 Pro, the company has launched another budget offering in the form of Realme C2, which is the successor to its entry-level offering- the Realme C1. Both the phones were launched at an event held in New Delhi yesterday. The highlights of Realme C2 include dewdrop display, diamond-cut design and a large 4,000mAh battery.

Realme C2 Price and Availability Details

The Realme C2 starting price in India is set at Rs. 5,999 for the base model with 2GB RAM + 16GB inbuilt storage, while the 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage variant is priced at Rs. 7,999. The first sale will be hosted on May 15 via eCommerce giant Flipkart.com, wherein the company is offering Jio benefits of Rs. 5,300. The phone will also be available in offline channels across the country soon. The available colour options for the users are Diamond Blue and Diamond Black colours.

Realme C2 Features and Specifications

The Realme C2 comes equipped with a 6.1-inch full-HD+ display with screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixles and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display features a dewdrop shaped notch at the top and has Gorilla Glass 3 layer of protection. Under the hood, there’s a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset based on a 12nm process which powers the device. In terms of memory, there are two variants- 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage. It runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box and features Face Unlock as security measure. In terms of optics, you get a dual rear camera set up consisting of a 13MP primary sensor + a 2MP secondary depth sensor. The front gets a 5MP AI selfie camera. The phone has capability of capturing slow-motion videos. This makes Realme C2 as the first phone in this range to have 80fps/480P slow-motion video recording feature. All of this is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery.
