After several teasers, Realme has finally launched its Realme 3 smartphone in India. The phone is successor to company’s Realme 2, that was launched last year. An official listing of the same was also spotted on the eCommerce giant Flipkart’s home page recently. The phone boasts of an attractive design along with powerful hardware and an impressive battery life. The highlights of the device include dew drop display, powerful Helio P70 chipset and an impressive 4,230mAh capacity battery.

Realme 3 Price, Availability and Launch Offers in India

The Realme 3 price in India starts at Rs. 8,999, which is for the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The top variant i.e. 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage is priced at Rs. 10,999. Both the variants will go on sale in the country via Flipkart.com on March 12th. The company may start selling the device via offline stores later on. The colour options include- Radiant Blue and Dynamic Black. As part of the launch offers, customers can avail flat discount of Rs 500 via HDFC cards or on EMI. In addition, Reliance Jio customers can also avail benefits of Rs. 5,300 on purchase of the device.

Realme 3 Features and Specifications

The Realme 3 features a plastic unibody design with gradient colour options. There’s a 6.2-inch HD+ display with screen resolution of 1520×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display comes with a small dew drop notch at the top which is less intrusive and allows for a larger screen-to-body ratio of 88.3 per cent. There’s a Helio P70 chipset underneath to keep things ticking, which offers better performance and greater power efficiency compared to its predecessor Realme 2. In addition, there’s Mali G72 GPU for graphics. In terms of software the device runs Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box with new ColorOS 6.0 on top, which makes it company’s first device to run the same. The new OS aims to offer a better user experience with fewer bloatware. In terms of memory, there are two options available for th users- 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 6GB internal storage. There is an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card. All of this is fueled by a 4,230mAh battery. The company claims that the battery in Realme 3 lasts longer than other 5,000mAh battery backed smartphones available in the market.

In terms of optics, the Realme 3 sports a dual camera set up which consists of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture + a 2MP sensor for depth sensing. The rear camera features Nightscape mode which aids in taking more detailed pictures at night by keeping the noise under control. The front gets a 13MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also doubles up as face unlock for additional security to the rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
