The Razer Hammerhead Bluetooth Headphones is being made available in India for Rs. 9,699 by Kiara Global, which offers a one-year warranty. The earphone can be fully charged in two hours. It has features such as 10mm drivers with neodymium magnets. The Hammerhead Bluetooth headset can be paired with any Bluetooth enabled device that is in its 10m vicinity. The headphones have a frequency response between 20 Hz to 20kHz, and an impedance rating of 32 ± 15% ohm. Its maximum input power is 10mW and music playback on it can be controlled by using an inline remote. The device comes with a 63 cm cable and weighs 28 grams.

The Razer Hammerhead headset is significantly larger than the industry standard of 6 mm and provides a louder and nicer audio experience. The headset contains an aluminium acoustic chamber than augments music reproduction and enhances durability. Each Razer Hammerhead Bluetooth headset comes with a case for carrying it around and the case includes additional ear tip sizes.

“The all-new Hammerhead BT comes with an optimized inner acoustics chamber and 10mm dynamic drivers for superior acoustic clarity and improved bass performance. Boasting an amazing battery life of up to 8 hours, this headset is made to deliver non-stop high performance that lasts for users all day. Loaded with features that matter most for the mobile users, Razer Hammerhead BT screams quality in every nook and corner,” said Manoj Attal, Director at Kaira Global during its launch.

Razer provides a gold-plated USB-A to mini-USB wire which plugs into the microphone piece to enable charging of the headset. While being plugged in, the Razer logos at the back of the earpiece glows green to make it easy to spot the device at night or in the dark. The LEDs turn red to indicate that the battery is low.

The Razer Hammerhead Bluetooth headset features Qualcomm aptX® codec for low-latency, high-quality audio. Its eight-hour battery life enables mobile users to enjoy music on the go without interruptions and attend to calls that come in when they are moving around.

The in-line remote of the device and microphone are compatible with Android devices, hence enabling easy call pick-up and navigation through music tracks.
