Razer Blade 15 will finally bring NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX graphics chips on to laptops. Razer is all set to unveil this new laptop from the Blade family at the CES 2019. The update will enable such laptops to take advantage of the increased power offered due to this development.

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced looks very similar to the standard Blade 15 laptop – its predecessor.  It sports a 15.6-inch IPS display. It is available in either a 1080p 144Hz matte panel or a 4K 60Hz multi-touch panel. The laptop supports up to 2TB of SSD storage and 16GB of RAM. The RAM is expandable up to 64 GB.

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced, besides offering all the features of the standard Blade 15, has made it really exciting in terms of features in graphics. While the Blade 15 includes NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics, the Blade 15 Advanced is powered with one of the following offerings from NVIDIA’s powerful RTX 20 Series chips.

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB GDDR6 VRAM)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design (8GB GDDR6 VRAM)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q Design (8GB GDDR6 VRAM)

The Blade 15 Advanced is powered by Intel’s 8th Gen Core i7-8750H processor on all available models. In addition to this, it also comes with some advanced cooling tech, using vacuum-sealed vapor chambers to dissipate heat from the CPU, GPU, and other components around the laptop. The vapor chamber tech is combined with a set of fans. The fans come with 0.1mm thin fins, which enables to efficiently move heat without making noise.

As for its connectivity options, the laptop includes one USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3, three USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB-A ports, a single HDMI 2.0b port, and Mini Display Port 1.4. It is equipped with a Windows Hello-enabled IR webcam. The laptop sports a per-key RGB lighting on the keyboard powered by Razer Chroma.

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced is expected to launch on January 29. The laptop will come at a starting price of $2,300 which converts to around Rs.1,61,300 and the one with the most superlative configuration works out to USD3000, which converts to a little over Rs. 2,10,000. The original Razer Blade will remain on sale as an entry point and it will feature the NVIDIA GTX 1060 Max-Q graphics which will come at a starting price of $1,600. While it won’t be available for purchase, the company has been showcasing display tech at CES 2019 that is being evaluated for the Blade 15 in the future including 240Hz 1080p and a 4K OLED panels.
