Panasonic India has launched the P100 smartphone. The Japanese company claims that this phone comes with Duraspeed technology, which saves battery and data by intelligently optimizing unused background apps.

The Panasonic P100 sports an 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It offers zero shutter clicks for clicking pictures in quick succession.

Under the hood is a 1.2 GHz quad–core processor. Panasonic has not mentioned whether it is a Qualcomm or MediaTek chip. The phone comes in 1 and 2 GB RAM variants. Internal storage is 16 GB, which can be expanded via the microSD card slot. The P100 is packed with a 2200 mAh battery.

The P100 will be available online via Flipkart starting from February 8. The 2 GB version is priced at Rs 5999. The 1 GB RAM model will cost you Rs 5299.
