Panasonic is ending a week by launching yet another budget smartphone in the Indian market. The latest entrant is the P91. Priced at an affordable price of Rs 6,490, it comes with 4G VoLTE support. Available at all Panasonic authorised stores, it comes in Blue, Gold, and Sand Black options.

The Panasonic P91 dons an attractive glossy back. It features a 5-inch IPS LCD with 480×854 resolution screen. It is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by the quad-core 1.1 Ghz MediaTek MT6737M which is quite popular among entry-level smartphones.

The P91 has 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. You can add more storage via a microSD cars slot. On the photography front, it has an 8-MP rear shooter. The so called ‘Multi-Mode Camera’ lets the user adjust multitude of effects such as skin tone, colour tint, background clarity, and sharpness to get the best results. The front facing shooter is a 5 MP one. As per the company, it is good at low-light selfies.

The entry-level smartphone comes with essential sensors such as accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light. rather unique for its price point, the P91 uses a graphite film to prevent overheating of the device. This ensures that the handset runs cool while performing CPU intensive tasks.

The P91 has a 2500 mAh battery. With dimensions of 144.7 x 72.4 mm, the phone is quite compact. But, it is a chunky monkey with thickness of over 10 mm.
