Panasonic Announces The Eluga Ray 700

A few days after the launch of Eluga 500, the Ray 700 has surfaced on Flipkart. It will go on sale from September 21 during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. Priced at Rs 9,999, it gets a bump in specifications compared to its younger sibling the Eluga Ray 500 while still doing business under Rs 10,000.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 700 dual-SIM device with 4G VoLTE support. Making it an ideal companion for Reliance Jio. It is a well-designed metal unibody phone with chamfered edges. It has a nice premium feel to it. A 5.5-inch Full HD IPS curved display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button.

The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage. It supports 128 GB microSD cards if you have a bigger media collection. The device runs Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box. It comes with Panasonic’s ARBO AI (Artificial Intelligence).

In the photography department, you get a 13 MP f/2.0 aperture rear camera. It features a Sony IMX 258 sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus). The selfie-shooter also has 13 MP f/2.2 aperture sensor with LED flash for better low-light performance.

Saving the best for the last, this phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery. The device comes in Mocha Gold, Champagne Gold, and Marine Blue.
