Coming to the Neo 5s… Apparently, the‘s’ in the name stands for Snapdragon, the chipset that is uses. The dual SIM phone sports a 4.5” just like its sibling. This one too runs on Android KitKat. The chief difference between the Neo 5 and Neo 5s lies in the processor it employs. The Neo 5s uses a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor to ensure fast processing. The 1 GB of RAM ensures smooth app switching.
The GPU of choice is the Adreno 306. The Neo 5s is 4G enabled, with the service heavily depended on the local service providers. On the memory front, the Smartphone will have 8 GB of internal storage with 128 GB of expandable storage using a microSD card. The Neo 5s will too come with an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. It will be capable of taking pictures of 3264 x 2448p resolution. Although the prices of the two new Oppo Smartphones hasn’t been revealed yet, the phones are aimed at the masses and hence the assumption that they will be priced somewhere in the mid- range is acceptable. The expected availability too, has not been revealed by the company. Thus, it becomes a game of wait and watch for Oppo fans and many others looking for a feature rich, affordable Smartphone.
