Oppo has added two smartphones, Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro to its Reno series. These 2 smartphones are introduced in China and there is no official statement about their launch in India. Oppo focused on providing the customers with a smartphone in the mid-range segment that has the latest, 5G connectivity. There is slight design difference in both the models, as Reno 3 sports the waterdrop notch and Reno 3 Pro comes with a punch-hole display.

Reno 3 & Reno 3 Pro: Specifications and features

Oppo Reno 3 will be available in 2 variants, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM where both the variants will sport internal storage of 128 GB. The rear camera on Oppo Reno 3 is a 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP quad-camera setup paired with an LED flash. With the fast charging support and the battery capacity of 4025mAh, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G processor.

 

Reno 3 Pro, will be competing with Redmi K30 5G and Realme X50 5G. This Oppo smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 765G. The Reno 3 Pro will have a display of a 6.5-inch unit sporting a 90 Hz refresh rate. This phone will be available in two variants, 8+128GB and 12+256GB. Even with these beast of specifications, Oppo managed to keep the smartphone ultra-slim at just 7.7mm. The rear will boast of a 48+13+8+2 MP quad-camera setup and the front will have a 32 MP selfie punch-hole camera.

Pricing & availability

The base variant, Oppo Reno 3 8+128 GB, will come at RMB 3,399 that is roughly ₹35,600. The top variant, ie Oppo Reno 3 Pro 12+256 GB will be available at RMB 4,499 that roughly translates to ₹45,800. Along with these, there is also a Reno 3 variant that comes in Classic Blue color and it is priced at RMB 4,199 (₹42,750). Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro will be available from Dec 31 and the Classic Blue variant will go on sale from Jan 10 in China.
