Oppo R1S smartphone with 5-inch HD display goes official in China for 2498 yuanby Sushant Bhosale April 24, 2014 0 comments
Chinese handset manufacturer Oppo has launched a new smartphone named Oppo R1S. The device which is a variant of Oppo R1 is now listed on company’s China website for 2498 yuan (approximately Rs. 24,500 & $400). As per the listing, the pre-order will start from April 25. But there is no word on the availability in other markets.
The Oppo R1S sports a 5-inch 720p HD display (720×1280 pixel resolution) and is powered by 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with company’s custom skin (Color OS 1.2) on top. For imaging purpose, there’s a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and CMOS sensor, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera. The in-built storage capacity of the device is 16GB. For connectivity there are options like- 3G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPRS/EDGE. All of this is backed by a 2410mAh battery.
