Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory Edition in Emerald Green Launched in China

China-based smartphone maker Oppo recently launched New Year Edition of its R17 and R17 Pro with a bright red paint job. And now the company has launched yet another special edition in collaboration with Tencent Games, this time in Emerald Green. The device is called Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory Edition and gets a customised UI along with a new paint job. It comes pre-installed with the game and has a special King of Glory theme. The branding of King of Glory can be seen on the back of the device. But it retains all the specifications of the regular variant.

Oppo has priced the King of Glory Edition same as the regular variant. It is currently up for pre-order for CNY 4,299 in China i.e. roughly Rs. 44,000 and $630.

Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory Edition Features and Specifications

As mentioned earlier, the Oppo R17 Pro King of Glory Edition features the same specifications as that of the regular variant. It sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display features a water-drop shaped notch at the top that houses the selfie camera. The display has been equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner just like the regular variant. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with Adreno 616 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity of the device is 128GB. All of this is fueled by a 3,700mAh battery with Super VOOC fast charging support. It runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.

In the camera department, you get a triple camera set up on the back which comprises of a 12-megapixel (f/1.5-2.4) + 20-megapixel (f/2.6 aperture) + 3D ToF camera lens that captures 3D photos. The rear camera set up also has support for LED flash. There’s a 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and beauty mode on the front for selfies and video calls.
