Chinese handset maker Oppo has launched a budget smartphone in India for Rs. 11,990. The company recently launched a high range smartphone named N1 with a price tag of Rs. 39,999 and now its targeting the price sensitive mid-range segment with Neo. The device was announced by the company last month.
The Oppo Neo sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The company claims that the screen has an enhanced touch-screen technology that is able to detect touch even with the Gloves on. The dual-SIM device is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. With regards to the camera, the rear has a 5MP autofocus camera without LED flash and the front hosts a 2MP snapper. There’s inbuilt storage of 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The battery capacity is 1900mAh.
The Oppo Neo weighs 130 grams with dimensions of 132 x 65.8 x 9.2mm.
