Oppo Launches O-Free Wireless Bluetooth Headset With Voice Assistant

Oppo has announced the launch of its latest wireless Bluetooth headset. The headset is called Oppo O-Free and has been unveiled in China. It will come at a cost of for 699 Yuan which roughly converts to Rs. 7,300. It will be available for sale in the country in August.

The latest earbuds from Oppo features a TrueWireless technology. This technology ensures that the headset has an in-built smart chip that can automatically align and seamlessly sync the left and right ear sounds with the smartphone. Oppo claims that the headset offers up to 4 hours of non-stop playback after it is fully charged once. The headset comes with a charging case which has a battery life of up to 12 hours. Due to the battery capacity, the charging case can charge the Oppo O-Free wireless Bluetooth headset up to three times fully.

As for its hardware, the device is powered by Qualcomm QC5100 chipset. The headset also features Oppo’s voice assistant. It also offers translation to its users like the Google Pixel Buds. The Oppo O-Free wireless Bluetooth headset also offers music control to the users so that they can adjust volume, play or pause a song, select a new playlist and even change a track.

Further, Oppo is scheduled to launch the latest Oppo Find X in India at an event on July 12. It is believed that the company may also launch the Oppo O-Free wireless Bluetooth headset at the event with its flagship smartphone. The Oppo Find X was launched at an event in Paris a few weeks ago. The Oppo Find X is priced at 999 Euros which translates to around Rs 79,000. The smartphone features in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue colour options and will be available for sale from August.

The Oppo Find X comes with a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio which is commendable and significant when compared to the newly launched smartphones. The ratio is slightly higher than the recently announced Vivo NEX as well which announced the ratio as 91.24 percent.

Oppo will also feature the pop-up camera system which was first introduced by Vivo Apex at MWC 2018. The same feature has been incorporated in the Vivo Nex as well. The pop-up camera mechanism is motorized thus enabling it to pop out in half a second to open the camera.
