Chinese brand Oppo has rolled out a new device in India. Dubbed as A71, the phone flaunts a metal unibody at a budget price. Priced at Rs 12,990, the phone will be available from September 12.
The phone features a 5.2-inch HD screen. It is a regular LCD without any IPS (In Plane Switching) moniker. You get the pixel density of around 280 ppi. Since it is lower than 300 ppi, you may notice some pixelation.
In the photography department, the A71 has a 13 MP rear camera. There aren’t many bells and whistles save for an LED flash. Considering the hype surrounding the selfies, the 5 MP front camera is also coupled with an LED.
On the software front, you get Android Nougat 7.1 out-of-the-box. Oppo has added its own Color OS 3.1 UI on top. The device packs-in a 3000 mAh battery and supports fast charging tech that does what it says.
The Oppo A71 is powered by MediaTek’s MT6750 octa-core chipset. It is clocked at 1.5 GHz. The phone offers 3 GB RAM and has 26 GB internal storage. A microSD card slot supports another 256 GB of expandable storage.
The Oppo A71 will be available for purchase from major online retailers such as Flipkart, Amazon, PayTM.
