Oppo Find Series to Make a Comeback with Find X on June 19

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is all set to launch its latest flagship dubbed as Oppo Find X. Company has started rolling out media invites for the launch event which will be held at Louvre Museum in Paris on June 19. This marks the comeback of Find series after four years. The last devices from Oppo’s Find series were Find 7 and Find 7A which were launched in 2014. The Find X is being touted as a futuristic flagship phone. The first phone from the series i.e. Find X903″ was launched in June 2011 with a unique side-sliding qwerty keyboard design.

Earlier the Oppo India twitter handle teased the launch of the phone with a tweet that reads, “Hi! It’s been a long time. The OPPO Futuristic Flagship phone is coming.”


Expected Specifications of Oppo Find X:

Smartphones from Oppo’s Find series have always featured high-end specifications and the Find X will be no different, especially as its the comeback smartphone of the series. Based on the past leaks, the Find X is expected to sport a 6.42-inch OLED display with 2K resolution. It is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB or 8 GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity of the device could be 256GB and the battery capacity could be 4,000mAh with superfast flash charging. The phone may come with support for 5G and 3D facial recognition. It may also feature an under-display fingerprint scanner and 5x optical zoom.

Recently, the phone was leaked in a hands-on render via Weibo (Chinese micro-blogging site). As seen in the image, the phone will host a vertically stacked dual camera set up on the rear and starry sky textured back panel with a breathing light at the bottom (similar to the one seen in OPPO Find 7 phone).
