China-based smartphone maker Oppo has expanded its F series with the launch of Oppo F11 Pro. The device was launched at an event held today in Mumbai, India. This is company’s second offering in 2019 with an in-display fingerprint scanner, the first being Oppo K1. The company also boasts of the low-light imaging capabilities of the phone along with an Ultra Night Mode. The highlights of Oppo F11 Pro include fullscreen display, mechanical pop-up camera and 3D face unlock system. The company also launched Oppo F11 alongside the F11 Pro.

Oppo F11 Pro Price and Availability in India

The Oppo F11 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs. 24,990 for the sole 6GB + 64GB model launched. There will be two gradient colour options available for the buyers- Aurora Green and Thunder Black. The phone will go on sale in the country starting from March 15 via Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, Paytm Mall.com, and Snapdeal.com, apart from select Oppo offline stores. The pre-orders for the phone have already started though.

As part of the introductory offers, the users will get 5 percent cashback on transactions made via HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. There’s also Rs. 3,400 Paytm cashback, and Jio benefits up to Rs. 4,900 with up to 3.2TB of Jio data.

The Oppo F11 is priced in India at Rs. 19,990 but there are no details available yet regarding the phone’s availability.

Oppo F11 Pro Features and Specifications

The Oppo F11 Pro comes equipped with 6.53-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display panel with 1080×2340 pixel screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio which results into 90.90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Fortunately, there’s no notch. Under the hood, there’s a octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded further up to 256GB using a microSD car. The device runs Android 9 Pie OS out of the box with ColorOS 6.0 on top which contains smarter AI algorithms for enhanced power efficiency and performance gains. There’s a 4000mAh capacity battery underneath to keep things ticking. The battery comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging system which is almost 20 per cent faster than the first generation VOOC charging, as claimed by Oppo. For security purpose, the phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

In terms of optics, the phone includes a dual camera set up on the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor + a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel pop-up shooter on the front with f/1.4 aperture. The rear camera module offers features like AI Ultra-clear engine, Portrait Mode, Ultra Night Mode, etc.

Considering the price and specifications, the Oppo F11 Pro is expected to compete against the likes of Vivo V15 Pro, Nokia 8.1, Xiaomi Poco F1 and Samsung Galaxy A.

As mentioned earlier, the company also launched a cheaper variant i.e. Oppo F11 which comes with a dewdrop notch and features a conventional 16-megapixel selfie camera instead of a pop-up selfie camera. It features 4GB of RAM, and 128GB inbuilt storage and is backed by a 4,020mAh battery. Rest of the specifications are same as Oppo F11 Pro.
