OPPO A9 2020 Scheduled For September 10th India Launch At A Price Tag Of Around Rs 21,000

Oppo A9 2020 is all set to be launched in India on September 10^th. As per the company, the invites for the launch event of the smartphone have already been sent out. This activity has confirmed the arrival of the smartphone in the Indian market. As per the invite poster, the smartphone may come with a quad rear camera setup adorned by a 48-megapixel sensor. It will be equipped with a rear fingerprint scanner and will offer multiple gradient finishes to its customers. The smartphone is likely to be the successor of the Oppo A9 that was launched in India in April this year. The original Oppo A9 comes with a dual rear camera setup and a waterdrop-style notch design.

The media invite confirms that the launch event will take place in India on September 10^th at 12 noon IST. As per the invite poster, the smartphone will come in four colour variants namely White, Blue, Purple, and Black. The invite poster also suggests that the smartphone will be equipped with three sensor that are aligned vertically. It will also come with a small sensor that will be placed right beneath the flash towards the side. The rear fingerprint sensor will also be placed right under the camera setup.

As per the recent teasers of the Oppo A9 2020 which have surfaced on the official Oppo Vietnam Facebook page, the smartphone will come in jade green and purple colours with a gradient finish. The Oppo A9 2020 will also come with a waterdrop notch design if the teaser is to be believed.

The smartphone is also teased to be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The processor is supposedly paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has significant improvements over its predecessor – the Oppo A9 which was powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC coupled with only half the RAM possessed by the Oppo A9 2020. The Oppo A9 2020 will retail at a price tag of around Rs. 21,000.
