ZTE’s subsidiary Nubia has already teased us with a ‘Full-Screen 3.0’ device on its official Weibo (Chinese micro-blogging site) page. And now, the company has rolled out an invitation for the launch of a smartphone that confirms the total lack of bezels. The invite also contains Chinese text that translates to ‘Open the Future’.
Nubia is another smartphone brand which offers flagship level specs at an affordable price tag. Its upcoming phone Z18 has been leaked online several times before. Based on the leaks, the phone will sport a completely bezel-less 5.99-inch display with a notch. It may be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. In terms of camera, the phone may feature dual rear camera set up comprising of 24MP + 8MP. The front will host an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is expected to run Android 8.0 operating system out of the box and may be backed by a 3,350mAh battery.

A schematic for the device has also surfaced online (source- GSMArena) which reveals the rear-mounted fingerprint reader along with horizontally aligned dual camera setup. The volume rocker and power key are placed on the right whereas the bottom hosts USB Type-C port, mic, and speaker grille. The screen of the phone is expected to deliver a screen-to-body ratio of more than 90 percent.
