Nubia Red Magic Gaming Smartphone with 8GB RAM and Air Convection Cooling System Launched in India

Chinese handset maker Nubia has launched its gaming-centric smartphone dubbed as Nubia Red Magic in India. Being a gaming device, the Nubia Red Magic packs powerful specifications including Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. It come with an aviation-grade aluminum alloy, three-layer graphite lamination for thermal diffusion and an RGB color light strip on the back. The phone will be available in India exclusively via Amazon.in with a price tag of Rs. 29,999. As part of the launch offer, the company is offering the first few lucky buyers RedMagic Nerdz Earphones.

Nubia Red Magic Features and Specifications

The Nubia Red Magic sports 5.99-inch Full-HD+ LTPS TFT display with screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio and 85 percent NTSC color gamut. The display panel is protected 2.5D NEG T2X-1 glass panel. Under the hood, the device draws power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The internal storage capacity of the device is 128GB. The dual-SIM (nano + nano) phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with Nubia Red Magic OS on top. It is fueled by a 3800mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, which will be able to last up to 7 hours of aggressive gaming on a single charge as claimed by the company. Nubia claims that the inbuilt ‘Game Boost’ feature will allow the smartphone to receive high frame rates. In addition, there’s a dual air convection cooling system which keeps things under check during prolong gaming sessions.

In the camera department, you get a 24-megapixel rear camera with 6P lens, dual-tone LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 76.9-degree wide-angle lens.
