Nokia has been busy launching smartphones of various price ranges throughout the year and the trend continues in December. The Finnish handset manufacturer has launched two smartphones in two different markets- Lumia 525 in Singapore and Lumia 1520 in India.
Lumia 525 was officially launched in last month and now has been released via Nokia Store in Singapore with a price tag of S$ 249 (around $200). The device is believed to be a successor of Nokia’s extremely popular Lumia 520 as it carries almost same features as that of the latter. However the 525 comes with 1GB RAM instead of the 512MB in case of the 520.
Other features of Lumia 525 include:
- 4-inch IPS LCD display
- 800 x 480p resolution
- Windows Phone 8 OS with the Lumia Black update
- 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor
- 5MP rear camera
- 8GB in-built storage (expandable up to 64GB)
- 1430mAh battery capacity
The device will be available in four colour variants- White, Black, Yellow and Orange. No details are yet available about the launch of 525 in other markets. However, it is soon expected to be available in Asia-Pacific, Africa and Middle East.
Nokia’s latest flagship, Lumia 1520, was unveiled a couple of months back in Abu Dhabi and is now available in Indian market with a price of Rs. 46,999/- This makes it one of the most expensive Nokia smartphone in the market. It comes with 6-inch fullHD display and is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB RAM.
