Nokia Lumia 2020 with 8.3-Inch Screen and Nano SIM expected to arrive soonby Sushant Bhosale December 13, 2013 0 comments
The rumours about Nokia’s upcoming tablet, Lumia 2020 have surfaced again after a few evaluation test documents leaked online at Zauba.com. Nokia recently launched (October’13) its first ever tablet Lumia 2520 and now the Finnish giant is reported to launch its next slate in Q1 of 2014.
Although there are no official details or images available of the tablet but it is expected to sport similar design as that of Lumia 2520 and might feature 8.3-inch fullHD (1920x1080p) IPS display instead of 10.1-inch as in case of 2520. The device is expected to run on Microsoft Windows 8.1 RT operating system and will be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB RAM. Other reported features include nano SIM, stylus support and WiFi connectivity etc.
As the Lumia 2520 falls in the high price range, its upcoming smaller sibling 2020 can be a mid-range tablet. The arrival is expected to heat up the tablet market share war between players like Samsung, Apple, Sony and more.
Expected features of Lumia 2020:
- 8.3-inch fullHD IPS display
- Windows RT 8.1 OS
- Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor
- Stylus support
- Nano SIM
Nokia is expected to unveil the tablet either at Mobile World Congress (MWC) scheduled to place at Barcelona (Spain) early next year (February 24-27) or at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in January. The company is also expected to launch one or more Lumia devices (such as Lumia 1820) at the said events.
