As fans would already know that HMD Global has the rights to manufacture and distribute Nokia branded smartphones. The company’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, just tweeted that Nokia 8 is getting early access to Android Orea via Nokia phones beta labs programme.

Users can sign up and gets dibs on the upcoming features before others. Rest of the public will get their hands-on Oreo with the official firmware roll out. The software is in beta, so we don’t be surprised to be greeted with a few bugs.

HMD Global claims that your feedback will help them create the smoothest and purest Nokia phones experience. Currently, the programme access is limited to Nokia 8 users. In another tweet, Juho Sarvikas has mentioned that other HMD Global phones such as the Nokia 3, 5, and 6 will follow the suit.
