However, the same has not yet been launched in India. It will compete against Nokia 7 Plus which was launched in India last month. Let’s compare the Moto G6 Plus with Nokia 7 Plus in order to find out the better device of the two.

Nokia 7 Plus vs Moto G6 Plus: Price in India

The Nokia 7 Plus was launched in India last month with a price tag of Rs. 25,999. Whereas, the Moto G6 Plus is yet to be launched in India. It was launched in Brazil with a price tag of $299 which is roughy Rs. 19,500. But the speculated price in India is Rs. 25,000.

Nokia 7 Plus vs Moto G6 Plus: Display

The Nokia 7 Plus sports a 6-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. While, the Moto G6 Plus bears a 5.93-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio, full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixel) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. So, both the devices are neck-to-neck in terms of display.

The Nokia 7 Plus is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of microSD card.

The Moto G6 Plus on the other hand, is fueled by 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB RAM. The onboard storage capacity of the device is 64GB which can be extended up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of battery, the Nokia 7 Plus is backed by a 3,800mAh battery with fast charging support. Company claims that the battery can deliver up to 723 hours of standby time and 19 hours of talk time. The Moto G6 Plus is backed by a 3,200mAh battery with support for Motorola’s TurboPower adaptor which can deliver up to 7 hours of usage on a single charge of 15 minutes.

Nokia 7 Plus runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box and Moto G6 Plus runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box.

The Moto G6 Plus measures 159.9×75.5×7.99mm and weighs 165 grams. While, the Nokia 7 Plus measures 158.38×75.64×7.99mm and weighs about 185 grams.

Nokia 7 Plus vs Moto G6 Plus: Camera

The Nokia 7 Plus bears a dual rear camera setup comprising of 12MP primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and 13MP secondary sensor with f/2.6 aperture. The front hosts a 16MP fixed focus selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture and Zuiss optics.

The Moto G6 Plus also sports a dual camera setup on the back but it comprises of 12MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera has dual-tone and dual-lens LED flash. The front features an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.

Both Nokia 7 Plus and Moto G6 Plus offer good features and thus value for money in the sub 30k price segment. However, the Nokia 7 Plus emerges as a winner as it scores more in terms of Camera, Battery Performance and Processor.
