Nokia 5.1 Plus Price in IndiaHMD Global announced the Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone in the month of August and today the company has revealed the pricing and availability details for Indian market. The phone is a rebranded version of the Nokia X5 that’s sold in China and is priced in India at Rs. 10,999. It is going to be an online only phone and will be sold exclusively via eCommerce giant Flipkart.com and Nokia.com starting from October 1. The pre-orders for the phone have already started though. There will be three color options available for the buyers- Glossy Black, Glossy White, and Midnight Gloss Blue.

Nokia 5.1 Plus Software and Hardware Configurations:

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is part of Google’s Android One program and runs Android Oreo 8.1 operating system out of the box. Company has promised that the phone will soon get the Android 9.0 Pie operating system upgrade.

The phone draws power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expanded further up to 400GB via microSD card. In terms of display, there’s a 5.8-inch HD+ bezel-less panel with a notch, 1520×720 pixel screen resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. All of this is backed by a 3,060mAh battery.

In terms of optics, you get a dual rear camera set up consisting of 13MP primary sensor + 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, there’s an 8MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

Considering the pricing, the Nokia 5.1 Plus is expected to compete against the likes of Redmi 6 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro and the Honor 9N.
