The Taiwanese brand has added a new range of laptops in the Indian market. The all-new lineup will include a total of six series of gaming laptops dubbed as Raider, Pulse, Vector, Stealth, Katana, and Crosshair. The specs and configuration will vary based on the variant you are picking.

The latest addition to the MSI gaming portfolio is powered by the latest top of the line 12th gen Intel CPU paired with GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. The laptops will also come with META Ready branding ensuring users that MSI is future-proof and the performance will be fully compatible with Metaverse. Let’s dive in for a detailed look.

MSI Stealth GS77 & Stealth GS66: Key specs & features

With a big 17.3” screen on the Stealth GS77, MSI offers a total of 3 display options under this series. The top variant will produce UHD resolution and it will come with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The other two options will come with QHD and FHD resolution with a screen refresh rate of 240 Hz and 360 Hz. The younger sibling Stealth GS66 will come with a smaller 15.6” screen with all the three display variants, i.e. UHD, QHD, and FHD. On the audio front, both the Stealth variants are equipped with dual 2W drivers paired with a total of 4 2W woofers. The audio setup is fine tuned by Dynaudio.

At their core, both the laptops are drawing power from the latest and greatest 12th-gen Core i9 CPUs from Intel. The processor comes paired with up to 65 gigs of DDR5 memory and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GPU. The battery unit on these gaming machines is a 99.9 WHr, the permissible threshold to fly.

MSI Raider GE76 & Raider GE66: Key specs & features

The primary difference that you will get here is in terms of availability of ports. The remaining specifications and features here will almost be identical with the Stealth range. The display size along with the resolution options will also remain the same.

MSI Vector GP76 & Vector GP66: Key specs & features

This series will be the latest one added in the MSI’s lineup. The elder sibling Vector GP76 will sport a QHD panel on a bigger 17.3” and the refresh rate will be 240 Hz. Moving on to the Vector GP66, it will be available in two options. There will be a QHD one with 15.6” at a screen refresh rate of 165Hz and another one with 240Hz refresh rate on FHD display.

Both the Vector GP76 and Vector GP66 will be powered by a 12th-gen Intel Core i9 chip paired with 64 gigs of DDR4 memory. The laptop will come paired with RTX 3080 GDDR6 8GB graphics card. The battery unit here is a 65Whr one.

MSI Crosshair 17 & Crosshair 15: Key specs & features

You can simply guess the screen size by the names, Crosshair 17 will sport a screen size of 17.3” and Crosshair 15 will have 15.6” of size. The 17” model comes with a FHD panel and a refresh rate of 360 Hz whereas the Crosshair 15 will have the 165 Hz refresh rate on QHD resolution. The latter will also be offered in another variant with certain game-inspired design elements dubbed as Rainbow Six Extraction edition.

At its core, the Crosshair series will draw its power from the same Core i9 12th-gen chipset from Intel. The CPU is paired with an RTX 3070 Ti graphics card. The whole package is running on a 90Whr battery capacity.

MSI Pulse GL76 & Pulse GL66: Key specs & features

Just like the Crosshair series, the MSI Pulse lineup will also be offered in similar screen dimensions and resolution options with identical refresh rates. The Core i9 chip will come paired with RTX 3070 GPU and 64GB of DDR4 memory.

MSI Katana GF76 & Katana GF66: Key specs & features

The screen dimensions will be 17.3” and 15.6” on the Katana GF76 and Katana GF66, respectively. Both the variants will sport a screen refresh rate of 144 Hz, however, Katana GF66 will also be available with an option of 244 Hz screen on a FHD panel. With RTX 3070 as its graphics card, MSI Katana will be powered by a 12th-gen Core i7 processor. Both the laptops come with a 53.5Whr battery.

Pricing and availability

The top of the line MSI Stealth will be sold at an starting price of ₹3,13,990 and the Raider lineup will come at a price tag of ₹2,79,990 for the base variant. Coming to the MSI Vector, the base variant will be available at a retail price of ₹2,12,990. Under the Pulse series, the GL76 will be sold at ₹1,62,990 whereas GL66 will be available at ₹1,56,990. The Crosshair Rainbow edition and the standard Crosshair 15 will come with a price tag of ₹1,90,990 and ₹1,56,990, respectively. The Katana series’ top variant will be available at ₹1,51,990, whereas the base variant will go at ₹1,11,990, respectively.
