MSI PS42 and MSI GF63 Laptops Powered By Intel I7 Launched In India

MSI has launched its PS42 professional notebook in India. The laptop runs the new Window 10, which is the first in the Prestige-Series, that is targeted at professionals. The notebook features a built-in fingerprint sensor. It is powered by eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor along with Nvidia GeForce discrete graphics.

The company has also launched its gaming notebook – the GF63. The notebook comes with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics. This notebook targeted for gamers succeeds the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin, GE Raider RGB Edition, and GT75 Titan. It debuted in the country with a starting price of Rs. 1,64,990. The Taiwanese company has established 21 new after-sales service centers in India to ensure that customers can seamlessly access the company’s centers in case of any issues with the devices.

The MSI PS42 8M that is powered by Intel Core i5-8250U has been made available at a purchase price of Rs. 77,990. The PS42 8RB, comes with an Intel Core i7-8550U and Nvidia GeForce MX150 and 2GB GDDR5, will be available at Rs. 99,990. The MSI GF63 has been made available in three different SKUs. The GF63 8RC with Intel Core i5-8300H+HM370 is priced at Rs. 79,990, while its variant with an Intel Core i7-8750H+HM370 comes at a price of Rs. 89,990. Furthermore, the GF63 8RD with an Intel Core i7-8750H processor, 128GB SSD, and 1TB SATA will be available for purchase at Rs. 99,990. All these notebooks will be available for sale in India from August onwards.

The MSI PS42 which was originally announced in June comes with a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with very slim bezels. The resolution of the display is 1080×1920 pixels. It includes up to eighth-generation Intel Core i7 U-processor, coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and GeForce MX150 graphics with dedicated 2GB of GDDR5 memory. The notebook has an M.2 SSD combo slot that supports NVMe PCIe Gen3 and SATA HDD. In order to ease the typing experience, the notebook includes a backlit keyboard.

The PS42 facilitates seamless connectivity with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, and an HDMI port. The device comes with two 2W speakers to produce stereophonic audio. The notebook, as per the company, can deliver around 10 hours of battery life in a single charge. The notebook is 15.9mm thick and weighs 1.19 kilograms.

MSI’s GF63 features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display. The notebook is powered by an Intel HM370 SoC, along with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The notebook facilitates connectivity via Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth v5.0. As for its build, the notebook comes with brushed aluminium build with the signature red dragon shield on top and an asymmetric dual-pattern design underneath. The GF63 offers more than seven hours of battery life in a single charge as per the company. The notebook weighs less than two kilograms.
