Finally, the all-new Moto Tab G70 has been revealed for the Indian users. In the last quarter of 2021, the Lenovo-owned brand launched its affordable Moto Tab G20 with middling specs. The 8” screen on a tablet drawing its power from a 5,100 mAh battery and Helio P22T SoC doesn’t appeal much. However, the price tag of ₹10,999 appeared to be fair enough. This time, Motorola has tried to offer an overall better experience in the form of Tab G70.

The 2K display of the latest Moto tablet will be ringed by a slim-bezel frame and it will support smooth high-definition playback on the OTT platforms, e.g. Prime Video, Netflix, etc. At its core, Moto Tab G70 will have a power-efficient chipset from MediaTek’s Helio G90 series. For the audio heads, the latest tablet will come with Dolby Atmos support on its quad-speaker setup. Moto is focusing on offering users an immersive viewing experience through better audio and display.

Moto Tab G70: Key specs & features

The 11” LCD screen on the Tab G70 will produce 2000*1200 pixels resolution and can reach up to a peak brightness of 400 nits. With slight touches here and there, the all-new Moto tablet will boot on Android 11 out of the box. The near-stock experience will help users with easy navigation along with offering features like Kids Space. It will cover more than 100 books, apps, and a wide range of content suitable for kids. Moto has also included Google’s Entertainment Space which users can use for games and movies.

The MediaTek’s Helio G90T SoC will power the Moto Tab G70 and the chipset will come paired with 64GB of onboard storage and 4 gigs of RAM. The package will be backed up by a beefier 7,000 mAh battery and the brand claims to offer a continuous use up to 12 hours with either web browsing or media playback. The big battery will support the fast charging up to 20W, the TurboCharger adapter is included in the box.

Moving to the opticals, Moto Tab G70 will sport a front 8MP sensor whereas the rear will house a 13-megapixel sensor paired with a dual-tone LED. The rear sensor will also support autofocus. With dual-mic onboard, the call quality has significantly improved. A few connectivity features are dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a Type-C port, and more. The pogo pins will let you connect the optional keyboard. The overall build quality is much better and it comes in a dual-tone finish on a metal unibody. The device also comes with a protection from splashes, thanks to the IP52 repellent coating.

Pricing and availability

The all-new Moto Tab G70 will only be available in Cyber Teal color and there will also be just a 4/64GB variant. The tablet will retail at a price tag of ₹21,999.
