This year we have witnessed launch of several Android phones. Lenovo owned Motorola recently launched Motorola One Power which is yet another Android One smartphone. The highlight of the device is its 5000mAh battery but another good thing about it is the pricing. The phone is priced at Rs. Rs. 15,999, which puts it in competition with other two Android One devices in the same price range i.e. Nokia 6.1 Plus and Xiaomi Mi A2. Both the phones were announced just a few weeks ago. So, all three phones have similar screen resolution, but the Motorola One Power has a slightly upper edge due to its large and tall display as compared to other two.
In terms of dimensions, the Xiaomi Mi A2 measures 158.7×75.4×7.3 mm and weighs 168 grams, while the Nokia 6.1 Plus measures 147.2×70.98×7.99 mm and weighs about 151 grams. In terms of battery, the Motorola One Power is a clear winner as it is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Both Mi A2 and Nokia 6.1 Plus feature battery with similar capacity. The Mi A2 is fueled by a 3000mAh battery with Quick charge 4.0 support, while the Nokia 6.1 Plus is fueled by 3060mAh battery with support for fast charging.

The Motorola One Power is backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset along with an Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 64GB which is expandable via microSD card.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus draws power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is expandable up to 400GB by means of a microSD card.
The Mi A2 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. There are two options available in terms of onboard storage- 64GB and 128GB. The storage can be extended further using a microSD card.
So, in terms of performance, the winner is Xiaomi Mi A2 with octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC.

For the camera buffs, the Motorola One Power offers a dual camera set up on the back which consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor + a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. The front hosts a 12-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus also features a dual rear camera set up comprising of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture + 5-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel sensor coupled with an f/2.0 aperture.
Xiaomi Mi A2 bears a dual rear camera set up consisting of 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture + 20-megapixel IMX376 sensor with an f/1.75 aperture. The front hosts a 20-megapixel selfie sensor with soft-light flash.

Just like any other Xiaomi device, the Mi A2 is also priced aggressively at Rs. 16,999 for the base variant i.e. 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The 6GB RAM variant is yet to go on sale in India. Motorola has also done a commendable job in pricing the Moto One Power aggressively at Rs. 15,999. While, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is also priced at Rs. 15,999.

With so many options available in the mid-range smartphone segment, the interested buyers are spoilt for choices and it complicates the decision making process.
All three phones, Motorola One Power, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Xiaomi Mi A2, are good in terms of specifications and are priced well. However, the Mi A2 has a slightly upper edge over the other two as it tops in terms of performance and camera. Xiaomi dominates the sub-20k price segment is India and you can expect a good after sales service as well. The Motorola One Power packs an impressive battery and decent display, while the Nokia 6.1 Plus is good option who give a lot of preference to the design and looks.
