Motorola One Power Gets a Price Cut in India: Now Retails at Rs. 12,999

Motorola One PowerMotorola had launched Motorola One Power as company’s first Android Go smartphone in September last year. At the time of launch the company had priced the device at Rs. 15,999. Now the price of the device has been slashed by Rs. 2000 and now it will retail at Rs. 12,999. Additionally, the e-tailer is offering a 10 percent instant discount to those who are making the purchase with an Axis bank credit or debit card. The move is not so surprising as we all know that Motorola is soon going to launch its new Android Go smartphone dubbed as Motorola One Vision. Some of the highlights of the Motorola One Power include Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 5,000mAh capacity battery. The phone is being offered in a single Black colour option.

Motorola One Power Features and Specifications

In terms of design, the Motorola One Power flaunts a metal and glass body and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Moto logo on the back. The phone has a splash-proof coating. The device comes equipped with a 6.2-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio and a brightness of 450 nits. The display features an iPhone X like wide notch at the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 509 GPU for graphics. The inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 64GB which can be expanded further by means of a microSD card. There’s a 5,000mAh capacity battery underneath to keep things ticking that supports Turbo Power fast charging technology. The company has included a 15W turbocharger in the box, which apparently gives you six hours of power with 15 minutes of charging. In terms of software, the device was launched with Android 8.1 Oreo, but has now been upgraded to Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

In the imaging department, there’s vertically stacked dual camera set up on the back which is placed at the top left corner and consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture + a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera set up also supports 4K video recording. There’s a 12-megapixel sensor on the front for taking selfies and making video calls. In terms of connectivity, the Motorola One Power features dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS with GLONASS.
