Following up the successful launch of Moto G and Moto X, Motorola has launched a new budget smartphone in India dubbed as Moto E. The dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) phone will be available exclusively at online megastore Flipkart.com from Wednesday (May 14) with a price tag of Rs. 6,999.

motorola-moto-eThe much anticipated Moto E features a 4.3-inch qHD display with water resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Under the hood, there’s a 5.0MP primary camera. Internal storage capacity of the device is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. All of this is backed with 1980mAh battery which can last up to 24 hours under mixed media usage.

Connectivity options provided in the device are- 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB and GPS.

In terms of dimensions, the Moto E measures 124.8×64.8×12.3 mm and weighs 142 grams. The phone will be available in two colour options- Black and White. In addition, the company will be offering colourful swappable back covers (Lemon, Turquoise, Black etc.) and grip shells. As a launch offer, Flipkart is giving the consumers extra 50% off on a purchase of original Moto E back covers.
