
Moto Unveiled Its All-new Tab G62 In India; Will Sport Snapdragon 680 & Dual-tone Rear Shell
The Lenovo-owned Moto has finally unveiled an all-new tablet in the Indian market dubbed as Tab G62. The latest tablet from Moto will expand its lineup in our country where it will fall between the existing tablets Tab G70 and Tab G20. The latter is an entry-level tablet whereas the former falls a bit on a premium side.
The latest addition to the Moto tablet lineup will be a budget-offering which will directly compete with Realme Pad X, Galaxy Tab 8, etc. Let’s take a deeper dive to know more about the Moto Tab G62.
Moto Tab G62: Key specs & features
The latest Moto tablet will greet you with a 10.6” display that will produce 2K resolution. This LCD panel on Moto Tab G62 will also come with an integrated stylus support that will be quite beneficial for the creative work. With an aluminum chassis, Moto is offering a premium design language using a dual-tone rear shell.
In terms of optics, Tab G62 will feature front and rear cameras, 8-megapixel each. For audio, the brand is offering Dolby Audio powered quad speaker setup that is enough to produce a punchier audio profile. With fast charging support up to 20W, the tablet will come with a bulky battery capacity of 7,700 mAh.
At its core, Tab G62 will be running on a Snapdragon 680 chipset from Qualcomm that will come with 64 gigs of onboard storage and 4GB memory. Moto is offering a dedicated microSD card slot for users to further expand the storage. Out of the box, the all-new Moto tablet will boot on Android 12 and will be equipped with a number of features like kids’ mode, reading mode, and more.
Few key connectivity features are Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm audio port, and USB Type-C.
Pricing and availability
The tablet Moto Tab G62 will be offered in a single color option of Frost Blue that will be priced at ₹15,999 (WiFi variant) and ₹17,999 (WiFi + LTE variant). The first sale will commence on August 22 through Flipkart.
