Moto G7 Power vs Samsung Galaxy M20 vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro: Design, Display and Dimension
In terms of design, the Moto G7 Power is a sturdy handset due to its Aluminum frame and water resistance power. Please note that the device can provide resistance against sudden splashes of water but is not completely water proof. The phone will be made available in Ceramic Black and Iced violet gradient colour options. The Redmi Note 6 Pro looks quite identical to its predecessor Note 5 Pro, except for the wide notch the top. However, the device looks quite average. Colour options of the Redmi Note 6 Pro are Black, Blue, Red, and Rose Gold. On the other hand, the Galaxy M20 stands out from the other two due to its trendy design with water drop shaped notch and thin bezels. The available colour options will be- Charcoal Black and Ocean Blue. Generally, you cannot expect a good design in the budget segment, but the Galaxy M20 proves to be an exception.
The Moto G7 Power sports a 6.2-inch LTPS LCD screen that features a wide notch, 1520×720 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The display also has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection against scratches. It looks better too, thanks to the trendy and tiny tear drop shaped notch as opposed to the conventional wide notch.
In terms of dimensions, the G7 Power measures 160.83 x 76 x 9.4 mm and weighs about 193 grams. The Galaxy M20 has dimensions of 156.4 x 74.5 x 8.8 mm and weight of 186 grams, while the Redmi Note 6 Pro has dimensions of 157.91 x 76.38 x 8.26 mm and its weight is 182 grams. Although Xiaomi is a market leader in budget smartphone segment, it’s Redmi Note 6 Pro fails to outperform in this comparison. It does win some points such as good camera and good processor, but it is the Galaxy M20 that seems to be a better value for money deal, thanks to its better display, impressive battery backup (5,000mAh!!) and most importantly an affordable price tag as compared to the other two devices. Motorola’s G7 Power gets the best software as compared to the other two devices, but it still gets third position in this comparison.
