Motorola is gearing up to launch its next-generation lineup of G7 series of smartphones. Recently the phone has been subjected to several leaks and rumours revealing its key features and specifications along with the pricing details. Now, a new Motorola phone with model number XT1965 has appeared on TENAA (spotted by Gizmochina), which is speculated to be the Chinese variant of the phone.

According to the TENAA listing, the Moto G7 Plus will run Google’s Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box and will be fueled by a 2,820mAh capacity battery. However, this contradicts the earlier reports which speculated the battery capacity to be 3,000mAh. In terms of display, the Moto G7 Plus will sport a 6.24-inch display with full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2270 pixels. It will be powered by an octa-core SoC that includes a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU and a 1.6GHz quad-core CPU. In terms of memory, there will be two variants- 4GB of RAM + 64GB internal storage, and the 6GB of RAM + 128GB internal storage. Both the variants will have an option to expand the storage via microSD card. The dimensions of the device will be 56.9 x 75.3 x 8.2 mm.

Further, the listing also mentions the rear camera configuration as 8-megapixel, which again contradicts the earlier reports that suggest that the Moto G7 Plus will sport a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera module. The front is expected to sport a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.

The phone will have a fingerprint scanner for security purpose. It will be releasing in China in colors several color options including Blue, Black, Red, Purple, Gray, Silver, Gold and White. However, all the color variants may not be made available simultaneously at the time of launch and some could be introduced at a later stage.

Motorola has been tipped to launch their next generation range of Moto G7 at an event to be hosted on February 7 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where it is expected to announce the pricing and availability details for the complete Moto G7-series including Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play, and Moto G7 Power.
