Mobiistar Launches 5 Budget Smartphones in India: Mobiistar C1 Lite, C1, C2, E1 Selfie, X1 Dual

Vietnam-based smartphone brand Mobiistar marked its debut in India earlier this year with the launch of Mobiistar XQ Dual (review) and Mobiistar CQ phones which were sold exclusively via eCommerce giant Flipkart. Now, the company has expanded its portfolio by launching five new smartphones in the budget segment- Mobiistar C1 Lite, C1, C2, E1 Selfie, X1 Dual. All five phones are selfie-centric and feature a full view display. They will go on sale via over 600 bricks and mortar stores across the country from today i.e. August 2nd.

“With our new range of selfie-centric smartphones, we aim to be the part of top 5 smartphone brands in the affordable segment by the end of the year,” said Carl Ngo, Co-founder and CEO of Mobiistar while commenting on the launch of new phones.

Mobiistar X1 Dual Pricing and Specifications:

The Mobiistar X1 Dual is a premium handset out of the five and is priced at Rs. 10,500. It features a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with 1440 x 720 pixel resolution and is powered by 1.3Ghz MediaTek 6737 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity of the device is 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It sports a dual selfie camera set up comprising of 13MP + 8MP sensors with the secondary sensor having a 120-degree wide-angle lens. The rear hosts a 13MP snapper with LED flash. It runs Android Oreo operating system out of the box and packs a 3,000mAh battery.

Mobiistar E1 Selfie Pricing and Specifications:

The E1 Selfie comes with a price tag of Rs. 8400. It sports a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with 1440 x 720 pixel resolution and 2.5D arc glass on top. In terms of camera, there’s a 13MP selfie snapper and 13MP rear snapper with autofocus and LED flash. It features 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The battery capacity of the phone is 3,000mAh.

Mobiistar C1 Lite Pricing and Specifications:

Mobiistar C1 Lite is the entry-level smartphone which is priced at Rs. 4340. It features a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS full view display with 960 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (128GB expandable), 5MP rear snapper and 5MP selfie snapper. All of this is fueled by a 2700mAh battery.

Mobiistar C1 Pricing and Specifications:

Mobiistar C1 is priced at Rs. 5400 and features 5.34-inch FWVGA+ (960 x 480 pixel) IPS full view display with 2.75D curved glass on top. There’s 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage with an option to expand up to 128GB using a microSD card. In the camera department you get an 8MP selfie camera and a 5MP rear camera. The battery capacity is 3,000mAh.

Mobiistar C2 Pricing and Specifications:

The Mobiistar C2 is the highest priced handset from the C-series which is priced at Rs. 6300. It also bears a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS full view display, just like C1 and C1 Lite. In terms of RAM/storage, it features 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, you get a 8MP rear camera and 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The battery backup is 3000mAh.

All 5 smartphones are equipped with 7-level face beauty mode, upgraded photo-processing algorithms and optimised beauty filters. For security purpose, all the phones except for C1 Lite come with Face Unlock. They come in come in trendy design with a combination of Blues, Black and Gold colors.
