Well, Microsoft has taken the fitness band technology to a new level altogether with its new Band 2. Apart from offering the regular features like monitoring the fitness regime, the Band 2 also has the capacity to track elevation, thanks to its barometer sensor. The device also has a built-in GPS system and a tracker that lets you measure the exact amount of calories burnt and sleep quality. Its standout feature is its powerful battery that promises to last for 48 hours. The band also has a curved display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The much awaited and the long-rumoured Lumia smartphones, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL finally became a reality and both the models saw the light of the day at the Microsoft Windows 10 Event on Tuesday. Both the devices are confirmed to run the brand new OS, Windows 10.

Surface Book

In a fitting reply to the Apple’s 13.3 inch MacBook Pro that has retina display, Microsoft brings out its competitor, which is the Surface Book. This high-end ultrabook, that features a full metal keyboard and the screen can be connected or detached through a hinge. Thus, Surface Book goes a step ahead of the MacBook Pro and gives users the dual benefit of using the device as a PC and/or as a tablet.

For all the gaming lovers out there, Microsoft made some amazing announcements at the Microsoft Windows 10 event that is sure to enhance your gaming experience. The company is all set to release its new range of holiday releases, which the company says is going to the greatest games lineup in the Xbox history. The games include, Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War and the Tomb Raider. Also, Microsoft announced adding the backwards compatibility features to the Xbox console, which will allow you to play the Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One Console.

This is another gadget that garnered a lot of attention at the Microsoft Windows 10 Event. It is basically a simple hardware adapter that lets you use your Windows phone like a desktop. You can connect your phone to the PC and get a large display of all your phone apps; you can even use the keyboard and mouse for easy access. The device, which was originally named as Continuum dock consists of 3 USB ports, including HDMI, display port and a type C USB port. You can plug-in the dock in the USB drive. The dock works pretty much like any other Windows device; there is a battery and information at the top.

Price and Availability – The Microsoft Display Dock is priced at $99 and there is no official word yet about when the device would be available in the market.
